Due to a hosting change, all of my project documentation is moving from

http://a.com/ProjectSitePath

to

http://b.com/ProjectSitePath

I have hundreds if not thousands of JIRA issues that reference a.com that I would like to update to b.com. Each issue may have a different ProjectSitePath, so the bulk update functionality that enables replacement of field values with a hard-coded value is not viable.

At a minimum, is there a way to concatenate the new domain (e.g. "http://b.com/") with the existing full path (e.g. "http://a.com/ProjectSitePath")?

Here is a python script that is designed to do just what you seek. I have never used it, so I cannot vouch for it personally, but it looks to be legit. I'd certainly try it in a non-production instance first.

Thank you, Payne! I'll nose around to find out if I can access that API and will share any success I find; I appreciate the help!
