Hi!

I have read many article about Agility and fragility ;)

And those articles and video do mention like:

Epic -> Story -> Task.

So Jira and Structure for Jira is wonderful solution to make this via automation:

But I see many duplicates.

So awesome community how do you cover the hierarchy  Epic -> Story > Task.

or do you use like Epic -> Story -> Sub-tasks ?

Cheers,

Gonchik Tsymzhitov

Hello @Gonchik Tsymzhitov ,

One way you may attempt to create your structure based on this hierarchy would be to Insert issuetype = "story". Then Group by Epic, and Finally Extend to the issues under your Stories (Tasks in your case) by whatever issuelinktype you are using.

You will want to be sure to use the Extend Levels options to define exactly where you want to apply the generator.

Please let me know if this helps!

Best,
David
