Jira Development: What is the Feasibility  and pros and cons of having Jira Custom Add-on/plug in to pull the metrics from Internal Tool.

As per the guidelines in the below link, can we update Jira code to our own gadgets/pug-ins by deploying the code.

If we done the above procedure, is it will be considered as dark mode?

While doing/after the procedure if Jira goes down the support from the Atlassian will be there or not ?

Yes, you can write your own gadgets as apps.

But, no, you won't be supported by Atlassian if you use them.  If you have problems with them, Atlassian will simply tell you to uninstall them and restart the server.
