Does anyone use the Kanban board with sprint time boxes?

If so, what report/metrics do you use to view progress?

- Would it still be the control chart against real time it took to complete issues?

In general, how do you show progress for Kanban if there's no "committed amount of work in a time period"?

We'd like to use sprints to be able to plan for what will be done in this 2 weeks, what will be done in the next 2 weeks, and so on.

We don't work like that, so can't specifically comment, but a very good report to use for Kanban is the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD). The CFD can still be used with a Scrumban approach (and even pure Scrum), so take a look at the one in Jira and do a search of what info the CFD can give you.
