Changing status of Issue leads to new assignee

Deleted user Apr 20, 2020

When I change the status of an issue in the project, for instance by dragging a subtask on the Active Sprint board from To Do to In Progress, Jira automatically assigns this issue to me.

I would like to have this setting deactivated for the project. I do not want the assignee to change based on changing any other attribute (like status) of a User Story.

Hello @[deleted]

Welcome to the community.

You need to look at your workflow transition, you probably have a post function that set the assignee to you.
