Can not edit priority level

I created a Jira ticket with priority level "Blocker", and I would like to change it to "Medium", but the system doesn't allow me to do that. I checked the internet, and I think it's an issue of having the appropriate rights in Jira?

Can anyone help me out with this please?

If you can edit other fields on the issue, then the problem is most likely to be that the priority field is not on the issue's "Edit" screen.  (Other possibility is you have an app doing some form of security on fields - we can't know if you've got that)

If you can't edit the issue at all, then yes, it's your permissions.

In all cases, an admin will need to take a look for you, amending the screen in use, your permissions or the config of a security/interface app.

Hi Nic, thank you for your reply. I'll check that out.
