Hi @Nathan,

Jira has a number of ways to automatically assign issues created in a project.

First of all, on the details page of your project settings, you can specify the default assignee for your tickets.

Of course, that will always be the same person then, and that is not the scenario you describe. So by using components in your project, you can add some intelligence to assign issues based on what they are about. Each component has a component lead and - yet again - a default assignee.

And even more advanced, you can add automation to go all in. Have a look at the Assign issues paragraph in this support article to learn more about your options there.

Hi @Nathan  You can do it with the help of Workflow post function which assign ticket to a particular person.  Or you can follow steps mentioned in the following document :-
