Transition rule to ensure that at least 1 item in a checkbox has been checked? Edited

In nextgen projects, is it possible to create a transition rule or automation to check that at least 1 item from a checkbox has been selected?

Hi @Matt Perrott  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Without more details, I expect the answer is "yes" for automation.

What have you tried thus far?  For example, have you tried to check if the field is "not empty"?

Best regards,

Hi Matt,

Automations kick in after an event. In this case we wouldn't be able to prevent the transitioning happening.

I have seen people use rules to transition the issue back to the previous state if some condition wasn't met but this can be a little awkward.
