unexpected default Project Roles in service desk

Hi all,

Jira administrator here. I have been messing about in our sandbox environment and noticed something unusual. On creation of a new basic service desk the the project automatically pulls in roles from a previous project my team built. In the project role browser i can see that the roles in question are associated with the correct project permission scheme (for their own project) and my new project is defaulting to its own new scheme so I cant figure out for the life of me why it is pulling in these roles by default. Any help would be much appreciated!

Project roles are global. i.e available in all projects. Your project is using the default permission scheme. You need a new permission scheme for your project.
