error message: Transition Failed

What is the reason of getting this error message in Jira?

Hi @shivani shirguppi ,

It seems like the user is able to initiate the transition but it fails when trying.

As a first step I would look into the workflow to see if there are any validations during this particular transition. I imagine this can happen if the jira admin validate on a specific field during the transition, but the transition screen is missing or the transition screen does not contain the field that is validated.
