I want to create an option where users can select multiple apps and then groups within the app.
How can i setup dynamic drop downs.
EX:
select app A
groups for AppA are presented, user can select multiple
User can select app B
groups for AppB are presented, user can select multiple.
(etc etc....)
I want the AppA-B and the associated groups to be listed on a database or sharepoint list so they can be dynamic per each request.
Welcome!
Jira Service Management's Forms allow for dynamic fields and conditional logic.
For the values, Forms can retrieve JSON data from REST APIs and use this data to populate choice lists. More info here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-or-unlink-a-data-connection-from-a-form/
Also, if you're using Jira Service Management Premium or Enterprise, you should explore leveraging the built-in Assets functionality where you could manage those lists and schemas directly within Jira.
Hope this helps
