Hello @Nisha Narayanan ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It's possible to move the issues from JSM to Jira Software, but be prepared to do a lot of planning and some trial and error because the default issue types in JSM aren't in jira Software.  So, at the very least you'd have to make sure the issue types and workflows mapped correctly.

ok thank you! I have exported and imported. I was not sure if the actual Move option does attachments and other part of the issues correctly. But yes, I will make sure issue types and custom fields are existing before i move them.
