When going to mysite.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/projects/NITS/settings/itsm-features as the site admin and trying to enable the "Customer service" feature "Customer and organization profiles", a snackbar pops up on the left side saying
In the browser devtools network tab, i see the following response from the POST request to enable (payload "feature: csm-customer-context"):
{ "errors": [ { "errorMessage": "An error occurred" } ], "reasonKey": "csm.barista.rest.generic.error", "reasonCode": "500" }
I tried creating a new service managment project with a template, and without a template, and for both it didn't work also.
I had this a month ago when I first stumbled across this setting also.
I created a support ticket on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-1058836
Someone from our JSM support team should be better able to assist here.
Andy
Thanks for all the kindness, even if we have just Free.
The solution was: Temporarily Make the agent org-admin.
2 hours ago I got request to give admin access per click of a button within their JSM, and now it has been solved, with professional full text templates and responses.
hint for others: just make sure to check billing after the ticket, and go back to free (his account on the site upped Jira)

Unfortunately I am not able to upgrade us to Standard Plan. I wanted to create this community post in the thought someone who had/has this problem will stumble on it and maybe comment with his resolution or kudo/me-too.
If you think it does not fit here and this is a site specific problem, I can also close this with your answer accepted. This bug is not a real affection for me.

No problem, I requested the Atlassian team to look into it. An Atlassian Support Engineer will review the post and respond on this thread within 2 business days.
