'Updated' Queue Column: Possible to show timestamp (hh:mm) as well as date?

JT November 29, 2021

Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping this is available and I'm just not finding it. I've added the 'Updated' column to our service desk queue, but I'd like more detailed information - in the form of a timestamp. Is it possible to show the time a ticket was received/updated as well as the date?

Thanks!

Currently, this is not possible so we're tracking this feature request:

JRACLOUD-71355: Display time value for Created, Updated and Resolved fields view search results / saved filter without updating global settings

You can update the format displayed in these columns and include the timestamp by updating the Day/Month/Year Format under Settings > System > Look and feel (requires Jira Admin permissions)

Thank you for the tip!

I would suggest adding a text field where you will put the exact date format that you want using an automation (Here is the documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-date-and-time/)

Then display this field in your queue

Thanks for the suggestion. Even though this would work, it would add a ton of unnecessary rule executions. Also, I've found the extended date is already available and even presented when hovering over the simple date. I just want it to display by default, rather than needing to hover over it.
