Hi,
Since I have no knowledge base linked to my project and I just want customers to have access to their tickets I would like to disable entirely the search bar. I found info (see screen) that one can disable search in Portal Settings but I do not have this option.
Do you have any suggestions how to hide it?
Hope this finds you well. I understand you are unable to disable the Search bar from the Portal Settings under Project Settings.
We are curious to know what version of the Jira Data Center you are running.
Please be informed this feature has been introduced from the Jira Service Management 4.18.1 onwards.
You can refer to Release Notes for more information.
I hope this answers your queries.

@Hameed Saudagar Are JSM auto upgraded to latest release note? How can i check which version for JSM I am using?

No, JSM won't be auto-upgraded. If you use Jira Software Datacenter along with JSM Datacenter, then you will need to upgrade Jira Software first and then JSM.
If you just JSM installed then you will have to perform the upgrade of your JSM as well.
You can follow one of the approaches mentioned in the Upgrade methods.
To check which version of JSM you are using you can check from

Is this not applicable for Jira Cloud? Or Jira Service Management via Web?
