We have an account for which the administrative owner is no longer with the company. There seems to be no way to now access the administrative tools as the email address is no longer valid. How can we remedy this aside from starting over and transferring the data we have? It's mainly Jira tickets.
Hello @Max Goff
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If the former administrator was using an email address assigned and owned by your company, then you should have your email/account administrators reactivate that account (if it has been deactivated), reset the password, then sign in as that account and add other current company employees as the administrators for your account.
If the former administrator used a personal email address then you need to contact that person and work with them to get them to transfer the administration permissions to a current employee. An Atlassian Team member provided that as the answer on this post.
Im facing an issue with this regarding a former employee who registered our company domain name to their personal account. can you provide guidance as to how we can reclaim ownership of the domain on your end, so my work domain email users can be transfered to another account?
We have access to the DNS records of our domain, so we are able to remove the DNS record if that forces a reset on your end.

Hello @McFarlane Digital Admin
What do you mean the former employee registered the domain under their person account?
Exactly what function in Atlassian cloud products did they use to do that?
(Note that I am not an Atlassian employee and have no access to make changes to your or any other persons' Atlassian Cloud environments.)
