Hello, we are doing a soft launch to an internal ticket management system. We will have emails forwarded from an email question/request box, and we can get Jira to respond to the original requestor. But, we'd like to have the link to the ticket removed since we don't actually want people in the system. Any ideas on how to do that?
If you are open to using 3rd-party applications, our app Notification Assistant for Jira can help you with this scenario.
It allows you to create fully customizable notification schemes and templates.
Our customizable templates provide you with the option to add or remove links from the emails.

Hi @Jennifer Murasky ,
Thanks for the above. I'm not sure if this is the notification/area your talking about that you want to remove but:
In your project settings > Notifications > Customer Notifications. Then click on "Edit Template"
this should let you edit the template that all the "Custom notifications" sits inside. In here you can remove the part where the "view request" text comes from.

Hi Jennifer - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You would need to turn off all of the Customer Notifications and then create Automation rules to send an email to the Reporter.
