We have a workflow which has an approval step. The approvers click the approve button via email/customer portal as they dont have access to Jira. As part of the approval, the approver needs to also provide some information.
Currently we just ask the approver to leave a comment in the ticket with the required information. However, this has resulted in incorrect information being provided.
Is there a way to add an option field to the ticket which the approver has to select during the approval step and how do i make this field appear in the approval email they receive?

As far as I know, there is currently no possibility to include custom fields or even the comment field in the approval process.
