Hello, I built a N8N workflow that creates issues with certain information, for some reason new issues created by the automation are not shown in the Board View (Glosa Recibida status which means new issues received) as shown below, but in Issues view you can see the most recent ones. This is common in some of the boards my company has created, it works fine at the beginning and the new issues created are shown in the board but somehow after a while issues created by the workflow stop appearing in the Board View, as well as the update movements made by the another automation (not Jira automation), which is rare, because when you look for them in the issues view they are there.

Already checked project settings, have not found anything similar to this

Hi @Lina Sofia Ballesteros Merchan and welcome to the Community!

There might be a couple of reasons for this behaviour. It is clear that your issues are created in Jira - otherwise you wouldn't see them in the issues view.

It is important to note that a board in Jira is a visualisation of issues matching a certain filter. If your project is company managed - at least. If so, check Board Settings > General > Board Filter and make sure that it does not exclude the automatically created issues for some reason. Also check the Board sub-filter on the same page, as it may also hide certain issues.

In the same Board Settings, also check the columns mapping. Each status in your workflow must be mapped to a board column to make the issues in that status visible on the board. Make sure that no statuses appear in the unmapped statuses box and drag them to a board column if this would be the case.

When you are looking at your board, also make sure there are no active filters on assignee, epic, release or any other quick filter that might be there.

Finally, check if the issues are not just sitting in the backlog of your board instead of on the active part of the board itself.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Walter Buggenhout ,

Thank you for your prompt response and collaboration. I have carefully reviewed the filters on my board, and they haven't changed since the project was created. However, it seems that, for some time now, issues have simply stopped appearing in the board view, although they are visible in the issues view. Even when I filter by the state in which they should appear in the issues mode, all of them show up, but not all are visible in the board view.

There are no active filters regarding assignments, states, or priorities. The issues are grouped by state as always. I am attaching some images here, second image shows there are no filters applied (Filtros) and image 4 shows the amount of issues that should be displayed (239) after filtering that status in Issues View.

@Lina Sofia Ballesteros Merchan

Welcome to the community.  I agreed with what @Walter Buggenhout suggested, the board's filter is one of the key issue that users face where issues are not showing up in the board do to the filter criteria.

When you executed the filter via issue search, do you see the missing issue in the result set?.  One other thing you should also check to see if your project is also using issue security implementation which it may prevent the issues from being visible because one was not called out in the issue security level setup.

Please advise, so we can assist you further.

Best, Joseph Chung Yin
