×Hello All,
We are having an issue when a new customer submits a request type through our portal, he instantly gets an error stating he doesn't have permission to see that request.
Atproject level
We create Security roles for the agents so they cannot see other team's issue types (for queues).
So what is happening is that the User is able to create its own account and globally the service desk customer role is assigned to it.
The issue we are seeing is that since the new customer wasn't added to the project, it doesn't inherit the security role permissions we created.
Question
Is there a way we can have the security roles to be inherited on a global level? or can the user be added to the project automatically as service desk customer so it inherits the permissions and can see the ticket?
Again, this happens after submitting the request
Hi @oscar.mora , thanks for your post.
Couldn't you just add the Reporter to all of the Security Levels in the Issue Security Scheme?
Would that resolve your issue?
Best wishes
Hi @Valerie Knapp we add the role service desk customer to the security scheme, but the problem is that when they raised the request on the project that reporter is not added into the project automatically with the role Service desk customer!
