Links which are send from Service Desk via E-Mail are not accessable from the customer

Hello,

 

we have a problem with attachaments to send them via comments. We would like to answer from the comments viar E-Mail. So Jira should automaticaly send the attachment from the comments via E-Mail to the customer. This is not working and we tried to do this at the settings. We also put E-Mail Attachements in the settings on public. But still the customer has no access. 

Do someone know a solution for our problem?

Are you saying you would like for attachments to be automatically sent via email as files and not as links? If so, there's an open suggestion related to it: JSDCLOUD-4086: Add option to send email to customer with attachment as files and not links 

On the other hand, if customers cannot open attachments at all, can you share some additional info such as screenshots/examples of how the customer sees it (what screen is displayed once they try to open the attachment via the sent link).

There's one attachment security option you might want to check when you navigate to Customer notifications in project settings.
