Hi there,
As we are happy with jira SD we would like to get emailrequests from external customers (from one emaildomain ) But when we open email requests for the public in SD , every new user gets a Jira SD account.... And they have access to the confluence space attached as knowledgebase....
We could use Jira Mail and create email requested issues in a non SD project. But then we miss the features of SD (SLA's... ) And we prefer to use one project for the helpdesk...
Is there another way to let users email and create SD requests without notifications...
Although you cannot prevent the creation of the customer accounts you can disable pretty much all of the mails in the project configuration under "Customer notifications" and change the mail templates to not include the links to the customer portal.
My apologies for the delay.
We tested and this is great. But you still could ask for a password change etc or signup through the web (servicedesk)
But it was quite simple to block those pages by our nginx reverse proxy in front of the ServiceDesk...
Thanks for the fast response !
