Hi All,

I was checking jira standard vs jira premium and realized that jira standard can still help us to keep our operations smooth but i realized thay also mentioned last year about some templates modification "Updating your incident, problem, and change management capabilities",

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/updating-your-incident-problem-and-change-management-capabilities/

I did not upgrade to premium but still see can toggle on the premium features that are removed according to their new updates.

According to their mentioned methods "ticket category" IN (Changes, Problems) ORDER BY created DESC" and one other method I realized bcz of this changes it will impact so pls tell me about thisasdas.PNG

Hi @Eitzaz Haider , I am also on the Standard Plan and had started using Change Management, but last year Atlassian removed Problem Management, Incident Management, and Change Management capabilities from Standard so they are only available in Premium and Enterprise. If your contract renewal for Jira/JSM happened before around September of 2024, then Atlassian extended the use of those features until your next renewal (that happened with us), but after that you will need to upgrade to Premium to use them. If your renewal happened later than around September 2024, then you probably lost that capability when you renewed. The features still show up in your Features page to remind you they're available on Premium Plan, but they're no longer available in the Standard Plan. So at some point, you'll have to change the issue types for those features to other issue types that are supported, such as Service Request and Task issue types. Hope that helps!

Hi @Susan Waldrip  Thank you so much yeah I am also checking this because we have many projects based on change management thats currently now is premium. Actually I can say that this change and incident management feature urge mid size teams to go for premium otherwise premium does not have such powerful features like in my case i have only issue with change management thing, the user limits, automation, storage all going well. for Atlassian ai you can use other ai tool for content generation and for natural language filter apply, use manual clicks.

Can you tell me what are impacts if change request go to uncategorized, i want to know worst impact of this change

Hi @Eitzaz Haider , sorry for the delay.... The Updating your incident, problem, and change management capabilities page is probably the best starting point for understanding the changes you'll need to make to your Standard Plan -- ideally BEFORE you renew or it'll be a challenge to fix afterwards. I hope all goes well for you!
