Is creating support ticket using JIRA API considered an app that requires Atlassian approval?

I'm utilizing your REST API documentation to create a JIRA ticket in my customers instance regarding a question/issue they may have about my product.

My concern is this: would this be considered an app where I need to submit to Atlassian for a formal app approval?

I'm pretty sure not but wanted to get confirmation.

Hi @John Galadzhyan  - I don't think so "The Jira REST API enables you to interact with Jira programmatically. " which I think is standard.

Thanks,

Indeed, REST API's are just another way of interacting with Jira.

An app that is integrated on the platform that will require approval but with the REST API's you only interact from the outside through a script or another program
