How to modify the filters on request page?

Hi,

we've using differs states as the standard "open/close" and don't using the resolution tag.

Is there a way to modify the filter "open request", "closed request"?

Alternative how looks the jql behind these filters?

You could use JQL filters like: status in ()

NOTE: I would reccomend you to use resolutions because:

resolution date is date when issue was really closed
issue could be closed to many reasons and resolution allows to specify which one.
