×Hello,
Our education team has a 'training' request type where our customer success members can request that we do some training with clients.
I am creating a form to gather info on the request type and we would like for requestors to be able to see available time slots for training. Is there an app anyone would recommend for this? Or any other solution like a way to link to a google calendar? Ideally, they could select available time slots, but just giving them visibility before filling in a date field would help.
Thanks in advance!
Tori
If you're looking to show available training time slots inside your form so requestors can select a time before submitting their request, you might want to check out Smart Forms for Jira add-on developed by my team.
🔹 Use the "Embed Field" to Display an External Calendar
🔹 Allow Requestors to Choose a Preferred Time Slot
Add a Dropdown or Date-Time Picker where requestors can select an available time based on what they see in the embedded calendar. Instruction for google calendar -https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37082?hl=en
🔹 Allow requestors to choose date inside embeded element
1️⃣ Create a Smart Form for Training Requests
2️⃣ Add an "Embed" Field → Paste the public link to a Google Calendar or scheduling page.
3️⃣ Add a Dropdown or Date Field for Time Slot Selection
4️⃣ Enable Issue Creation → Automatically log requests as Jira tickets.
🚀 Outcome: Requestors can view training availability directly inside the form, select a time, and submit a structured request—making scheduling easier for both teams!
