How to add macros on the Customer Portal

Oliviu Nita August 10, 2015

Hi,

How to add a macro into one request on the Customer Portal?

If it is possible, i don't want to use a field, i just want to add a info macro for the users with a link to our Confluence.

Look at the exemple from the Atlassian Portal: https://support.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/3/create/20

Cheers & thank's.

Hi Kristin,

Thank's a lot for your answer.

It's not what i need, i don't want to "play" with the default css file, because in the past i have broken the layout after an update.

It's hard to belive that i'm the only one who need this feature, i think i will open a ticket laugh

So my question is still open.

Cheers,

Oli.

Hello Oliviu,

interesting, this. I played around a bit and found that you can use the panel macro in the Help sections. That doesn't look as nice as Atlassians panel, but I think you could override the styling in JIRA CSS.

Code:

*Bold* \\ _italic_ \\ {color:red}red{color} \\ [link|http://www.amazon.de] \\ {panel:title=My title|borderStyle=solid|bgColor=lightgrey|titleBGColor=darkgrey}This is the panel content, containing also a [link|http://www.amazon.de].{panel}

It's not exactly the same as you wanted, but perhaps it's suitable.

Cheers,
Kirstin
