I have various Atlassian products, now I want to add the Role of Site Administrator to a person who is not a Jira Service Management Agent, he will be administering configurations and users.
But When I try to add him I get the message that I have no more Jira Service Management Licences, I don't need a licence for him, just access to all things in Administration; but somehow I am being forced to use a Licence.
Site Admin required all license - managing all your product in your site including users. Use product admin for the specific product to administered the configuration on that product but still only Site Admin can access user management (it includes all license of the user).
you should be able to remove the site-admin group from the product access of Jira Service Management.
Configuration should still be possible. Please make sure, that site-admins still have product access to Jira Administration product.
Hope this helps.
