Im new to this software and my company and pretty much thrown into Jira. I want to first set up simple ticketing functions for my company. Im reading through documents but cant seem to find process just yet and would like some quick tips on setting thus up.
Jira comes with a load of project templates that help you with generic standardised projects.
Log in as an admin and select "create project". You probably want to use a Service Desk project for this. Jira will create the workflows, fields and screens you need for a simple generic ticketing system, all you will need to do is add your users to it.
Then use it for a while and probably evolve it.
