Forms Drop Down - 'Other' Option

When creating drop down in the form, I selected the option of 'Other'.  When the 'Other' option is selected, it automatically opens a text box that says, 'New Option'.

Is there a way to change the label for 'New Option'?

Welcome to the community.  Can you clarify if your element for the dropdown list in your FORM setup (mapped to an actual project issue field or it is only a FORM element without any tie with issue field)?  

If it is just a FORM element, then it is not possible currently to change the "New option..." wording.

You may want to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to ask them if what you are asking is on Development team's roadmap for FORM enhancement in the future.
