Error notification in service desk

Hi Atlassian,

 

I have configured a regular Jira service desk project.  When I go to a few of the pages in this project I get the following error:

This service desk project has configuration problems and may not work as expected.

View error details and repair the problem

 

The link in this message does not work and I have tried to reindex, restart the server and still could not find the issue.

 

The error message happens on the following pages:

  • Project settings
  • Queues
  • Reports
  • Welcome Guide

Please help.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem.  I understand that the repair does not appear to work.  However if you click on the view error details, does it help provide some more information about this error?   This should help us narrow down the problem that way.

Also what color is this warning box?  Is it red or yellow?  

It is possible you could see either color warning box with this error message.  The color can help indicate the severity of the problem in this case (red more severe, yellow potentially problematic).

It also might help to try to recreate this error message once more, and then look into the $JIRAHOME/log/atlassian-jira.log or the atlassian-service-desk.log at the time this error is shown.  Perhaps these logs can tell us more about the specific background cause of this problem.

Could you please also let us know what versions of Jira and Jira Service Desk you are using here?
