Hey Atlassian community,
I'm trying to configure a workflow so that when a request ticket is raised that it first goes to an approver before coming through to the queue.
However, when I'm in my issue type 'configure workflow and go through the stages to implement an Approver - the Approver field says "Already exists. Try another name".
I'm not sure where this Approver already exists in the settings and how I can get rid of this error.
Essentially within the workflow I'd like to implement an approver (which the customer can select the approver) before a ticket can move from "START" to "TO DO".

For the configuration of an approver field...For example, line manager, you can essentially configure a user picker field and add it to your request type and make it require for your customer when filling out the request.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
