Hi,
We have an organization that a user created that we need to delete and I have set the products to cancel and as per attached the cancellation is pending and I have access until 11th May 2024.
I had assumed after this I could delete the organization but it still shows the product associated with the organization.
I am not too sure if I am then missing something or just need to wait for the cancellation to be processed but I am unsure when that will be?
Thanks.
I can see that you have cancelled the renewal of the product subscription to that site and that you have a ticket for this in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/35/CA-2980598
Per our guide in https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/cancel-a-subscription/ it will take 15 days after that product would have renewed (11 May) before that product is deactivated.
From there, it tends to be an additional 60 day period where the data is retained for that site per https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/track-storage-and-move-data-across-products/#How-does-cancellation-impact-my-data
Once that time lapses, then the site is deleted. Only after the site is deleted, can the organization then be deleted.

Would recommend you raise a ticket here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact. In order for a product's removal to be expedited or completely removed I've usually asked the Atlassian Support team to assist, since they can get it done from the back end and the product/site also gets removed from my list of products after the initial buffer is completed.

Hi @Jehan Bhathena - as it is a free plan, I have tried to raise a support ticket but am unable to hence the community ask.

Got it.
