We use My Requests Extension for Jira Service Management extension and we want to sent every week excel export e-mail for specific users.
Could we handle with JIRA automation or Is there any other solution?
Hi @Ramazan Keskin , thanks for your question.
You can program the sending of an email to external users with automation but I am not sure about how to include the app results, if you are wanting to include an Excel file with the email.
Solved: Sending an email with a list of issues using Autom... (atlassian.com)
Please check this question and see if it helps you. Otherwise, I always recommend people to check out the Automation Library to get ideas - Jira automation template library | Atlassian
Good luck!
Hi @Valerie Knapp ,
When I tried to your recommendation I received this type e-mail:
This is not good about user experience and follow up issues.
When I tried to @Els Bassant 's recommendation I received this type e-mail:
This is good but not for customers.
As I mentioned my above comment, this filter subscription is okay for me but I want to share with our customers.
Do you have any idea?
Thank you.

Hi @Ramazan Keskin , thanks for your response.
What are you trying to achieve by sending the email? Do you want the customer to have an overview with their tickets open with you?
It will not be possible to send the filter subscription to people who are not users in your organization.
Have you evaluated any apps? I think something like this, Charts and Reports for Jira Service Management | Atlassian Marketplace, just as an example, would be more sustainable, some kind of solution where you can surface reports of the data in Jira, instead of just sending emails, which would be rendered obsolete when someone opens another ticket.
What do you think?

Thanks for your support.
We also use My Requests Extension for Jira Service Management extension. I will try your suggestion but our customer wants to see their tickets on excel and report them their manager.
Me either do not want to use excel export but sometimes we can not set our customers' demands :).
How could we handle with this request?

Hi @Ramazan Keskin , thanks for your response. I think if they need to see the output in a spreadsheet, you will need some kind of custom development. The only thing I can think of that might work would be to generate the filter subscription to yourself and then forward it to the customer.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Cheers

Hi Ramazan,
If the only thing that is needed is a simple list of issues a filter subscription might suffice.
But if you need more complex reporting, or if the excel format is a hard requirement then this won't be possible without the use of plugins.
