Attachements in Service Desk - Application Access

Hannes January 28, 2020

Hallo everybody,

I'm working with a customer and they have two working students here working with attachements. They have this process:

1. Student A has to view all attachements on issues after a certain time. This includes a lot of projects and should also include JSD Projects.

2. Student A decides which attachements are for delete.

3. Student B has to delete them without viewing them

I don't like this process, but that's not the point (We try to enable something better ;) ).

My question is: Does student A need JSD application access? I'm not sure as I'm new to JSD.

It depends on the project configuration.

You could work it out so that Student A was a customer that had the ability to view/browse issues, which would allow them to view only attachments.

I agree that this seems like a silly use of time when you could have both students reviewing and deleting attachments, but to each their own!

It would be easier to administer an account for Student A as an agent in my opinion.
