I'm Teresa, the Product Marketing Manager for Jira Service Desk Server at Atlassian. Curious about the latest updates in the Jira Service Desk Server and Data Center 4.1 release? Look no further!
Learning from the success of the portal improvements in Jira Service Desk Cloud, we're excited to bring these improvements to Server!
You now have more ways to match the portal to your brand, and create a simple yet polished experience for your users:
When you upgrade to Jira Service Desk 4.1, you will be able to opt-in to the new experience. This will be the default portal experience in a few releases from now, so go ahead and take it for a spin today.
Read our blog to learn about the new experience, and how to opt-in here.
We've improved our automation webhooks, so you can now you can now send custom payloads to third-party web services. The options are endless, but we think sending automated alerts through Slack, like posting a message in a channel if a SLA is about to be breached, would be pretty cool.
Check out the Jira Service Desk 4.1.x release notes for everything you need to know.
