Organizations in the JIRA Cloud SD is a Locked custom field. We need to extend, can this be done?
We support external customer organizations and need to hold information about what software they have from us? This needs to be easily referenced on the the Issue screen.
eg. which version of software, modules et al.
Is this possible?

Actually, the organization field is a locked field build to allow multiple customers on the same organization to share their tickets if they want too.
In order to add more information as you need, you can create custom fields to have each detail you need in the request types and make them required.
