How to get Jira to this url?

Hello dear Community,

now i set up my Jira Service Desk on a Windows Server and i configured about selfsame, so the url is localhost:8080. 

How can i achieve to get jira to domain.com/support

Kannst du einmal testen, ob du über die Domain auf deinem Server ankommst. Ping oder Traceroute.

Wenn ja, erreichst du denn auf Port 8080 noch irgendwas?

Ok, dann hast du ja wahrscheinlich nen Apache oder ähnliches da laufen, der auf Port 80 hört.

Dann müsstest du dort konfigurieren,  dass /Support auf Port 8080 weitergeleitet wird. Schau dir dazu am besten mal die Doku zum Reverse Proxy an

Das klingt doch nach einer guten Idee. Allerdings läuft IIS mit Windows Server 2016 dahinter, aber ich guck mal ob das da auch geht und melde mich dann. Danke!

Hi @Leo,

Welcome to the community. 

First, you have to configure your DNS Server so that domain.com will point to your server IP.

The you have to set the application context path. How to do this is described here

Last thing I forgot,either configure your Jira to listen to port 80(also in server.xml) or configure an reverse proxy, that listens on port 80 and sends it to port 8080.
