Delete a custom field option

Hi team,

i have some around 1500 records and due to business requirement i want to delete couple of values from that custom field which is of multi select list in jira. 

I want to do it via REST API. I have used PUT, POST and GET and working absolutely fine. So Please guide me the same if DELETE can also be used. If yes then what api call should i make.

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we don't have a REST API endpoint to delete custom field options. We created the following feature request to get this implemented in Jira Cloud:

Add REST API (PUT, POST, DELETE) for custom field options

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As you can see in the last updates, we have already created the endpoints to PUT and POST to manage the custom field options and we are working to implement the option to DELETE them.
