We store customer interviews and feedback in Confluence documents and I want to link up these to Ideas in JPD. I'm using the Chrome extension to do this while browsing through Confluence.
Some of the text I'm selecting contains rich formatting like bold, italic, strikethrough or bulleted/numbers lists. However (annoyingly) the extension strips out this richness when pulling it across, so that in JPD it all appears as plain text on a single line. This can sometimes alter the meaning of the text and makes it harder to understand the insight.
JPD can support rich text within Insights that are made natively within the site - it just seems the Chrome extension cannot. Is this something that can be added?
Hi @andrew_furness ,
My team has developed a multifunctional Chrome extension called Issue Creator for Jira Cloud.
It supports rich formatting.
You can also use it to add annotations to a live web page, take screenshots, and work with visual web elements.
Here is a 30-day trial for you to familiarize yourself with the app.
And here is an example of how I tried to create an idea in JPD with rich formatting based on your comment.
