Hello! I'm seeking to integrate my Typeform survey results with Jira Product Discovery. My objective is to link the survey responses to specific ideas in Jira and assign values to each selected answer from a particular survey question. For instance, assigning 5 points to the first option, 3 points to the second option, and 1 point to the third option. Additionally, I aim to automatically aggregate the survey results into a rating or score that updates whenever new survey responses are received. This approach will enable me to track the value of ideas based on user feedback collected through surveys.

At the very minimum, I'd like to to associate all survey results to one particular idea, and then have that manually be sent to "Insights." So far, I have attempted to integrate these components using Zapier. However, I have encountered limitations where I could only send all survey results to the "Comments" section of a specific idea, rather than to "Insights." Furthermore, automating the score calculation based on specific survey results has proven to be challenging.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

Hi @Favio Osorio , we don't yet support a native integration with Typeforms. I can think of 2 options:

  1. You can use the Chrome extension to select parts of survey responses and add them as insights to ideas (that's how we do it with our own solutions for surveys)
  2. If you have an engineer who can help you, you can use Zapier to call the Jira Product Discovery API to add insights to ideas or create ideas and add insights to them.
  • To create ideas, just use the Jira Cloud API to create issues
  • To add insights, use the "create insights" API. to find its specification, open https://xyz.atlassian.net/gateway/api/graphql# (where xyz is your site name), open the documentation tab, and look for "createPolarisInsight"
