Copy/Duplicate a field

I'd love the ability to copy/duplicate a field in Jira Product Discovery.

We use a few fields that are specific to a quarter when we do quarterly planning. Right now, we need to create new fields each quarter that are identical except for the field name.

Additionally, it would be nice to archive fields (we like having the data, but we don't want it taking up space in the list of fields).

I have a regular use case for cloning fields. One example: I have a field "Initiative T-shirt size" which is options field with many different t-shirt sizes from XS to XXL (with different color for each option and maybe even weights attached). Now I would like to add another field "Actual T-shirt size" that represents what was the size after implementation is done to compare the planned and actual effort estimate.
Should be as simple as clone a field, change the name and voila. But currently it would take me tons of time to do monkey typing of all field options, attaching the right color and weights. If I have "backend t-shirt size" and "frontend t-shirt size" separately the work doubles.

Curious to hear why this is not standard feature as with any config option in Jira.
