Automation for copying value of calculated field from Idea to Delivery ticket

First of all Jira Product Discovery is a fantastic addition, we had been working this way in google sheets and had been holding off on moving to JIRA as we weren't sure how we were going to replicate the same method of prioritisation and comparison. 

I've been having some success using Automations to copy field values from the Idea ticket to the linked delivery ticket, but I am unable to do so with a calculated field like the RICE score. We use this metric to prioritise our Ideas and it is calculated from numeric values for factors like Reach and Impact etc.

Without being able to copy this information over to the delivery tickets I'm creating in our Product Backlog, we have to flip back and forth between projects to prioritise our backlog, or we're forced to manually copy the information over which is time consuming and error prone.

Is there a simpler solution I'm missing?

Hi Jess, 

Unfortunately you're not missing something : Formula fields, along with People, Vote and Insights are not yet supported in automation rules, see Known-limitations-of-Jira-Product-Discovery 

We are planning to solve this gap, but we aren't able to communicate on a closed timeline yet.
