Hello all.

As we are working in a suite of related products, some ideas are applicable to more than one specific product roadmap.

For instance, the icons disposition and navigation logic of the product Nav-Bar would be used by all the products of our suite.

So, is it possible to create an idea like "Nav-Bar improvements" and use it in all product roadmaps ? (like have linked and synced ideas through several products).

Thanks for your help and support

@Jaime Matus do you manage these products in a single Jira Product Discovery project or multiple projects?

Hello @Tanguy Crusson

We handle several projects in JPD, each focused in one product.

thanks !

Okay, in that case unfortunately you'll need to duplicate these ideas, one in each project. You can link them together directly, or have a project that lists all the cross-product ideas, and you link those to each product-specific idea. Not ideal I know, but Jira issues can really only belong to one project.

Hey @Jaime Matus ,

You could take a look at Released as a workaround.

In Released, you can create a board view that cuts across multiple projects, also including Jira Software.

The shared components could live in their own JPD project, or simply be part of another project.

Keep in mind that these views are purpose built for communicating roadmaps. Although you can move tickets on the board, Released doesn't offer the advanced planning features that JPD provides.
