In JPD, we can associate tickets to track delivery progress.
It is possible to choose Initiatives, Epics, User Stories, and Tasks.

In Jira Software, I manually created a "Parent of" link in the Initiative to add an Epic as a child (since there is no native Jira method).
However, when I associate the Initiative as a delivery ticket in JPD, I cannot access its children.

Is this behavior expected? Will this use case be supported in the future?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Nicolas SCHANG and welcome to the Community,

While there is no support currently to add a child issue directly from an initiative, that parent-child relationship is present natively. You just need to fill out the Parent field on your Epic issue to link it hierarchically to its parent initiative.

This does require you to be on a premium plan of Jira and have your issue hierarchy defined. I haven't tested yet if this then reflects delivery in JPD correctly, but at least, that would be already a step in the right direction to use the out-of-the-box issue hierarchy as it's intended.

Hope this helps!
