Hello,
With Jira Premium advanced hierarchy, we've renamed the Epic issue type in our high-level Program Backlog to Feature.
But when in Delivery tab as a PM, we want to create one ticket, the issue type is named Epic. Will be helpful for our PM understanding to display "Feature" instead.
And to complicate the situation, we've created the Initiative higher level and called it "Program Epic". So, it's quite confusing.
As an improvement, could you read the custom issue type name set on the destination board please ?
Thanks
Hi Jean-Emmanuel,
I've tried to do the same and it works properly for me - renamed my Epics as "Features" and "Features appears. Maybe you've changed it in Advanced roadmaps, but not in the project settings?
Software projects > Project settings > Issue type
Discovery project > Delivery panel
Cheers,
Hermance
Hi Hermance,
Thanks for your answer, didn't know we can do that in Jira :)
But I'm on a company-managed project so I can't rename Epic issue type without impacting all my organization :(
