Cross out insights

Is there anyway to cross out insights once you've used them/dealt with them?

When discovering and gathering information, I got a long list of inputs as insights.

Then I go thru them and use them shape the idea. But I don't want to keep reading the insights if I already got all usefull data from them, I don't want to delete them for future referecence.

Is there anyway I can mark them as "Done", "Used" or "Read" using a tickbox?

Kind of crossing them out from the the list

Hello  @[deleted]

There is no issue hierarchy in the traditional Jira sense in JPD products, but there are a couple of ways to replicate the experience you are looking for:

Using fields

  1. Create a new field, called Type
    1. Up to you how to set this up, I would set it as a single select dropdown
  2. Add three values to that field
    1. Call one Parent Idea
    2. Call one Idea
    3. Call one Sub-Idea
  3. Add the values to your ideas as required
  4. Add a new field, called Parent Idea
    1. Add values for each of your Parent Ideas
  5. Assign Ideas  to Parent Ideas
  6. Create a view grouped by Parent Idea

Using Atlas

Atlas is another Atlassian Product for tracking initiative - level progress. This has an integration into JPD and can be turned on in your JPD settings. This would allow you to link idea to an Atlas project, and use the Atlas project to organise and communicate progress.
