Delivery progress - take into account child issues

Currently, the Delivery progress bar only seems to take into account the issues that have been directly linked to an idea, and not its child issues.

ie. Link a new feature to a Deliverable in JIRA Advanced Roadmap that has child issues as Epics and Stories in the various JIRA software team projects. 

The Delivery progress bar show only one ticket linked and so status as complete which is very misleading. Alternatively, you would have to link EVERY single ticket which seems to defeat the object of having child issues with parent links.

Hi Tim, 2 recommendations for you here:

1. Teams get a lot of value out of discussing effort and impact estimates, it's not so much the number that matters but the resulting discussion of why people have different estimates, so the most value is achieved synchronously.

2. An asynchronous way of doing this would be to add these estimates as comments to the idea.

I agree about the discussion and that was intended but not all voices get heard, the post your opinion idea ensures participation... 

Regardless, we will have to use the comments for this purpose - a feature to consider perhaps (seems a competitor has it (below!))
