Hi,

I started to work with Jira connector in Microsoft Power Automate to create issues.

I'm properly connected to the Jira account using a Token but get this error when trying to create an issue. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I found a post that says I should remove the reporter field from the issue template in Jira but I don't have this option in the project settings.

Thanks

I'm seeing the same error even with a newly-created Product Discovery project and the newer v3 action. I just opened a ticket with Power Platform support and they claim it's not an issue with the connector and actually an issue with the API.

Did you ever find a workaround to creating an issue?

So there's a quick way to do it and its to remove the permission in Jira (for the user of the API token creating the flow) to set a reporter.

Once that is removed, this error goes away.

You can also try making sure that the Reporter field is always available and automatically assigning a user to it.
