Please consider adding Cartesian coordinates to the Matrix feature

First--I have been using JIRA for almost 15 years, and this may be the best product you've built, really appreciate it. I actually prefer it as a way of rolling up existing projects, not just new ones--I use 'Ideas' as a stand-in for an issue type that can sit above Epics, kind of an 'Opus'. I can get decent traceability, and the flexibility enables me to refine and adapt as I go.

If you could augment the matrix feature to enable not just X-Y, but Cartesian (Rectangular) coordinates, I think you could paint a richer strategic picture to a wide range of viewers/stakeholders.
